Scale-X Fluid Conditioning Technology

                            BENEFITS   and   FEATURES

  Scale-X reduces
operational costs

  Overview of Benefits and Features

Scale-X fluid conditioning technology offers the following benefits and features through application specific MFCs, that is, specifically designed MFCs for each individual application:-

•   Stops new scale and biofilm (slime) from forming

•   removes pre-existing scale build ups and biofilm

•   Is environmentally safe.

•   Controls corrosion
.
•   Eliminates chemical treatment costs and environmentally dangerous chemicals.  (In the process side of the food industry it reduces the quantity and number of chemicals used)

•   Eliminates discharge and disposal of dangerous chemicals and facilitates compliance with EPA, OH&S and DHS.

•   Installation requires no electrical, chemical or other external connections, and consequently uses no electrical power or chemical injection. The energy is provided by the pump in moving the fluid.

•   Can be installed completely inside process piping and vessels, which are sealed and does not require routine access for maintenance or repair; or alternatively it can be installed externally on pipes.

•   Very compact in size and weight and has no moving parts

•   Insensitive to motion, is highly flexible in retrofit and de-bottlenecking applications

•   No hazardous emissions or waste streams are created by the Scale-X MFC’s.

•   Correct design and installation of Scale-X MFC’s within a system can significantly reduce the routine maintenance required for removal of scale in existing plants, and in most cases it will totally eliminate scale formation and the need for maintenance shutdowns to remove such.

•   Once-off cost at installation, with no ongoing costs

•   Return on investment (ROI) is usually within weeks of months.

•   Low capital outlay and overall significant reduction in plant operating costs with major energy savings

•   Increases production output, plant efficiency and plant availability

•   In saturated and supersaturated solutions, crystallisation can be initiated without "seeding" or can be used to enhance the seeding process, the rate of crystallisation can be increased and the yield of crystals can be increased.

•   Increases plant life expectancy

•   Restores system flow rates

•   Effective in de-bottlenecking scaled systems

•   Allows plants to be operated at continually higher throughput volumes due to the reduction and/or elimination of scale-created restrictions that occur in scaling plants

•   Reduces and/or eliminates harmful bacteria, Legionella, fungus and algae problems
