WELL   HEAD   TYPE   MFCs
 

The well head type MFCs are located as close as possible just down stream after the choke valve at the "Christmas Tree" located at the top of the well on the platform. Each unit is designed for the particular application, that is, they are "application specific" and no "off the shelf" units are available. These incorporate flow profiling and velocity amplification.

Sizes range from 3 inch (75mm) diameter well head tubing upwards.

The units are located in a special spool which forms part of the well head MFC package.  A special transition flange is supplied as part of the unit.
